Some learning content, narrative descriptions, and visual assets within Nexus Academy may be created or assisted by artificial intelligence systems. This page explains what that means for you and your student.

1. AI-Generated or AI-Assisted Content

Two different things happen here, and we want to be precise about both.

• Pre-written content (lesson questions, quiz banks, activity text, artwork and character designs) may have been created or assisted by AI tools during development. That material is fixed in the app and was reviewed by us before release for educational appropriateness. It may still contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
• Spark, our on-screen helper, generates replies live using a third-party AI language model. Those replies are not reviewed by a human before you see them. Spark is constrained by instructions to act only as a navigation and help guide for this website, but like all language models it can still be wrong. Treat Spark as a signpost, not as a teacher, and never rely on it for factual, medical, legal, financial or safety information. Spark is not a person and does not connect you to any other user.

AI outputs are not a substitute for verified textbooks, qualified teachers, or professional advice.

2. No Guarantee of Accuracy

We make no warranty, express or implied, that AI-assisted content is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any specific educational, assessment, or curriculum requirement. Always verify important information against authoritative sources, and consult qualified professionals where appropriate (for example, for medical, legal, financial, psychological, or special-education advice).

3. Not Professional Advice

Nothing in the Service is intended as medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice, even where it appears in an "expert", "professor", or character voice within a game.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Supervise younger learners as appropriate.
• Use your own judgement when applying anything learned in the Service.
• Report inaccuracies, harmful content, or anything that seems unsafe to nexus.systems.au@gmail.com so we can fix it.

5. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove, restrict, edit, or replace any AI-generated content at any time, and to refuse, filter, or moderate outputs that breach our policies or applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

AI-assisted content within the Service is owned or licensed by us. You may use it as part of normal use of the Service under our Terms of Service, but you may not extract, redistribute, or train other AI systems on it without our written permission.
